Real Madrid’s Casemiro’s house robbed during Madrid derby

The house of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro was robbed during Saturday night’s derby against Atletico Madrid, according to reports.

ESPN FC cite sources close to the Brazilian international as describing how his residence was targeted by burglars whilst he played at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday.

The scoreless draw at the home of Los Rojiblancos kept Madrid at the top of the early La Liga table, with few clear-cut opportunities created by either side.

A number of players have had their properties robbed while living in Spain, with the repot citing Casemiro’s Madrid teammates Lucas Vazquez, Isco, Karim Benzema alongside his Coach Zinedine Zidane as being previous targets.

Atletico Madrid's Alvaro Morata along with Barcelona duo Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba have also had their houses robbed, while Philippe Coutinho also suffered the same fate last season.

Casemiro’s wife and daughter were in the property at the time but both are said to have escaped unhurt.
