Wolves linked with Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard

Premier League side Wolves could make a shock move for Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard has been earning rave reviews so far this season, after joining La Liga side Real Sociedad on a season long loan, and Nuno Santo's side could look to make a January move for the Norwegian international.

Reports in the Daily Mirror claim that Santo has dispatched scouts to Spain to run the rule over the 20-year old, whose future remain unclear at the Santiago Bernabeu.

He has spent the last two seasons out on loan, at Heerenveen and Vitesse respectively, before joining the Basque club at the start of the season.

His contract was extended by Los Blancos back in 2017, and he is tied to the club until 2023, despite Zinedine Zidane admitting they could be willing to listen to offers for him.

Wolves are expected to test the water with a £20M bid in early 2020, as they look to climb the Premier League table, after a poor start to the 2019-20 season.
