Inter Miami CF – the club owned by former England international David Beckham – have reportedly highlighted Santiago Solari as their new manager.
The club do not enter into the MLS until 2020, but preparations are already well underway to ensure they hit the ground running, and according to reports in Diario AS, Solari is the front runner for the head coach's role.
Speculation has been rife as to who exactly will be on both the bench and in the playing squad next year, with wild rumours linking Lionel Messi and Edinson Cavani with shock moves to the United States.
Solari, who enjoyed a short and unsuccessful spell as Real Madrid boss last season, following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, has been out of work since leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in March.
The Argentinian is also well known by Beckham, after playing together during a two-season stint in the Spanish capital.
