Neymar has Champions League suspension reduced

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has had his Champions League suspension reduced from three games to two.

The Brazilian was handed a three game ban following his criticism on Instagram of referee Damir Skomina, after the Slovenian controversially awarded Manchester United a late penalty in their 3-1 Champions League last 16 win over the Ligue 1 side.

Despite not playing in the game, Neymar was handed a retrospective punishment by UEFA, as Thomas Tuchel's side crashed out of Europe.

However, following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Neymar has no been freed to play in PSG's third group game of this season's competition.

The 28-year old will now only miss the visit of Real Madrid to Paris later today, and their trip to face Turkish side Galatasaray on October 1st.
