Marc Ter Stegen: I proved my quality against Borussia Dortmund

FC Barcelona goal keeper Marc Ter Stegen believes his performance against Borussia Dortmund has set a marker for the season.

The German international was the star man for Ernesto Valverde's side, in the 0-0 opening day Champions League draw at the Bundesliga giants, saving a Marco Reus penalty and making a hosts of sides to keep Lucien Favre's side out.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach stopper has established himself as No.1 at the Camp Nou, despite the summer arrival of Valencia CF keeper Neto.

"People know what I am capable of.

"I always have trust in myself, and my performances, and today was a chance to prove that.

"We played well tonight, but we need to improve in certain areas

"A point is probably a fair result."

FC Barcelona head to Granada CF in La Liga action this weekend, before games against Getafe and Villarreal, before their next Champions League clash, at home to Inter Milan.
