Neymar’s intended transfer angers Barcelona dressing room

Management of the deal surrounding the Neymar transfer by Barcelona's directors has angered various first team footballers, reports Marca.

Barcelona are on a war path with their own players as, according to the newspaper, many first team members of their squad are said to be angry and irritated with the management of Barcelona's board of directors in this recently closed summer transfer window.

Various players throughout the transfer window have been used as a bargaining chip to get the Neymar deal over the line such as Rakitic, Semedo, Dembélé and Coutinho.

This has led to a complete disorder, which has consumed the dressing room with a frosty environment coming to the fore thanks to a lack of transparacy and honesty of the situation for the protracted and ultimately unsucessful negotiations Neymar's return.

The report indicates that the majority of the players were originally in favour of a return for the Brazilian, especially the established captains of the club.

However, the squad feel Barcelona never truly had a full interest in making his return a reality – something President Josep María Bartomeu refutes, stressing to them he would do all possible to sign him.
