Paris Saint-Germain goal keeper Alphonse Areola has completed his medical ahead of a move to Real Madrid.
The 26-year old is reportedly set to be join Zinedine Zidane's side, as part of the deal that sees Keylor Navas go in the opposite direction to the Ligue 1 champions before the deadline closes on September 2nd.
The French international has been told by manager Thomas Tuchel that he will not be first choice at the club this season, as they look for a replacement for the departed Gianluigi Buffon.
Areola missed PSG's win over Metz on August 30, and according to Spanish television show El Chiringuito, he has now completed his medical and signed a contract at Real Madrid's training base at Valdebebas.
He will then head to join up with Didier Deschamps' squad for their EURO 2020 qualification games against Albania and Andorra , before returning to Madrid after the international break.
