Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro believes his side are still short ahead of the rest of the 2019-20 La Liga season.
The Brazilian started his third successive game of the campaign in the 2-2 draw at Villarreal CF, but he has called on his colleagues to show more in the weeks ahead.
"Everything was missing in tonight's game (at Villarreal CF).
"We should have scored more goals, based on the chances we created.
"We need to be better defensively and work to get together as a team.
"But we have a good team spirit and experience so I am confident we can achieve our goals this season."
Gareth Bale netted his first two goals of the season, as Zinedine Zidane's side fell behind twice at El Madrigal – and Los Blancos are yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season, conceding four goals in three games.
