PSG eye Sevilla goal keeper Sergio Rico

Ligue 1 champions PSG are reportedly interested in a shock move for Sevilla goal keeper Sergio Rico.

With the European transfer window set to close on September 2nd, the French giants have been linked with a host of goal keepers to replace Gianluigi Buffon – who returned to Juventus this summer.

Thomas Tuchel's side have been heavily linked with a deadline day move for Real Madrid goal keeper Keylor Navas – but according to reports in Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, they could also go for Rico.

If they do secure a deal for Navas, Rico would serve as No.2 to the Costa Rican international.

Rico spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Premier League side Fulham, making 29 Premier League appearances as they were relegated back to the Championship.

He returned to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, however new manager Julen Lopetegui has opted to Tomas Vaclik in all three of their La Liga games so far this season – with Rico set for a season on the bench.
