AS Monaco are set to launch a bid to bring Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder back to Ligue 1.
The French international played for Toulouse between 2010 and 2016, before moving to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan ahead of the 2016-17 La Liga campaign.
He has been key for Sevilla, with 38 goals La Liga goals in 98 appearances, however according to reports in Estadio Deportivo he has been told his first team opportunities if Julen Lopetegui brings in more players.
The former Spanish boss has already signed Luuk De Jong and Munas Dabbur, and he is still reported to be interested in PSV forward Steven Bergwijn, with the Dutch side holding out for €45m.
AS Monaco will initially offer €20m, plus Portuguese international Rony Lopes, with the potential for a higher cash offer, if Sevilla are willing to negotiate a deal for the 28-year old.
