Brazilian international Arthur Melo is set to return to first team training with FC Barcelona.
The 22-year old was given an additional break by manager Ernesto Valverde, following his role in La Selecao's Copa America triumph this summer.
FC Barcelona kick off their La Liga title defence at Athletic Bilbao on August 15, and the former Gremio midfielder is eager to get started.
"Winning the Copa America gave me a lot of confidence, he told an interview with Marca.
"Playing against strong national sides and emerging as winners gives real confidence.
"I am back at Barcelona now and enjoying pre-season training, and I will be doing more in the next week.
"I want to work more in the physical side of training ahead of the new season.
"I know was an issue for me last season, and I want to change that."
