Manchester City interested in Real Madrid’s Isco

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are considering a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

According to reports in UK newspaper the Daily Express, Guardiola wants to bring the Spanish international to the the Premier League as he looks to strengthen their title defence.

The report states that Zinedine Zidane's side could be interested in a deal for the former Malaga midfielder as they look to balance their finances after a big summer of spending from the former French international.

The 27-year old has three years remaining on his contract in the Spanish capital, and he could be available for a fee in the region of €50m, should Real Madrid opt to cash in.

Guardiola has be quiet in the transfer market so far this summer, with just three new signings, including Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri, and full back Angelino and goal keeper Zack Steffan from PSV and Columbus Crew respectively.
