Celta Vigo confirm Emre Mor loan to Galatasary

Celta Vigo have confirmed that Emre Mor has joined Turkish side Galatasary on a season long loan.

The 22-year old was a bit part player for Fran Escriba's side last season, due to injuries and a loss of form around the turn of the year, and the club have to opted to let him leave for 2019-20.

The Galician club have not confirmed any details of the loan move, or whether or not it includes a purchase option for the Super Liga side, with Mor under contract at the Estadio Balaidos until 2022.

The Danish-born Turkish international joined Celta Vigo from Borussia Dortmund in a club record €14m deal back in 2017, and his arrival was heralded as a major coup for the La Liga side.

However his time in Spain has failed to hit the predicted heights of two years ago, with just one La Liga goal in 33 appearances, with frustration over his ability to transfer potential into performances under four different managers.
