Sevilla defender Aleix Vidal is set to leave the club and join Alaves on loan for the 2019-20 La Liga season.
According to reports in Diario AS, the Spanish international has been left out of Sevilla's pre-season squad that is travelling to Germany, to complete the details of his move to the Estadio de Mendizorrotza.
The versatile defender is likely to see his first team chances reduced this season, after new manager Julen Lopetegui opted for a summer overhaul of his squad and brought in 10 new players.
Vidal, 29, is under contract with Lopetegui's side until 2022, following his return to the club from FC Barcelona in 2018, however Alaves have reportedly rejected a permanent move for him.
Sevilla will contribute to part of his wages next season, with Alaves requesting a non-compulsory purchase option to be inserted into the loan deal.
