Borussia Dortmund have made a €42m bid for FC Barcelona winger Malcom, according to reports from online source Goal.com.
The German side have been linked with a move for the Brazilian for over a month, and they will now step up their efforts to bring him to Germany, ahead of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season.
FC Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for the former Bordeaux man – despite only being in Catalonia for a year – as they look to free up space in their squad following the arrival of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
Ernesto Valverde's side are expected to demand closer to €50m for the 20-year old, after paying €41m for him just over 12 months ago, and the Geman side are willing to increase their offer.
They have already spent over €100m on transfers so far this summer, with Thorgan Hazard, Paco Alcacer, Mats Hummels, Nico Schulz and Julian Brandt arriving at the club.
