Bayern Munich are considering a dramatic double swoop for Leroy Sane and Ousmane Dembele.
According to reports in German newspaper Bild, the Bundesliga superpower do not want to be left behind by the European rivals in the transfer market this summer, and have highlighted the pair as ideal new recruits.
Following the retirements of club legends Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, manager Niko Kovac is looking to strenghen his attacking options, and according Sane and Dembele fit the mould perfectly.
Sane has been linked with a return to Germany since the end of the 2018-19 season, depsite playing a key role in Manchester City's Premier League and FA Cup double triumph.
Bayern have been quoted €150m for the former Schalke winger, with two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
A move for Dembele could prove more straightforward, following Barcelona's signing of Antoine Griezmann, and continued pursuit of former player Neymar, from Paris Saint-Germain.
Dembele has three left on his deal at the Camp Nou, but if the Catalan side want to raise transfer funds, they could be persuaded to sell the French international.
