Real Madrid have agreed a fee with Real Zaragoza over highly rated midfielder Alberto Soro.
Los Blancos have been linked with the 20-year old, and reports in Diario AS this weekend claim that a fee of €2.5m has done been confirmed to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Soro, who came through the club's youth ranks, made 21 league appearances in his debut season in the first team in 2018-19.
It had been reported that the Segunda Division side were holding out for the €9m release clause inserted into the new five-year contract he signed in December 2018, however they are now willing to accept due to their financial difficulties.
Soro and his representative Pere Guardiola, brother of former FC Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola, will now negotiate personal terms for his move to the Spanish capital.
One of the options on the table, is Soro immediately returning to Real Zaragoza on a season-long loan, with his chances of first team football likely to be restricted following the arrivals of Eden Hazard, Rodrygo and Luka Jovic.
