Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is insistent on joining Valencia this summer ahead of other suitors, report Marca.
The report claims that the player is being offered a higher salary by Celta Vigo but his wish is to be reunited with Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral at the Mestalla.
Denis – who worked under current Valencia boss Marcelino at Villarreal – was loaned to Arsenal in January but endured an underwhelming stint in North London which was undermined by injuries and a failure to settle in the British capital.
The central midfielder looks certain to exit the Camp Nou but his destination is yet unclear, with the player said to hold a preference for Los Che, who are playing in the Champions Legaue next campaign.
It is said that Celta have offered €10m for the player but a higher salary while Valencia are prepared to sanction a bid of €15m.
Valencia and Barcelona have been involved in negotiations this summer with the goalkeepers Jasper Cillessen and Neto swapping clubs while Los Che are also keen on Blaugrana midfielder Rafinha Alcantara.
