Real Madrid are negotiating a deal to sign highly-rated attacking midfielder Alberto Soro from Real Zaragoza this summer, claim Diario AS.
The 20-year-old is said to be the jewel of Zaragoza’s side and he has starred for the first team this season with 30 appearances across La Liga 123 and the Copa del Rey.
The report claims the deal would be similar to the one which took central defender Jesus Vallejo from La Romareda to Los Blancos in the summer of 2015.
It is expected that any deal would see Soro remain ‘on loan’ at Zaragoza for the coming campaign and the player is said to be excited about the possibility of a move.
The former Spain Under-18 international has a €9m release clause at Zaragoza but it is claimed that any deal taking him to Madrid would be closer to the region of €5m.
Soro penned a long-term renewal at the second tier club last October until the summer of 2022 while Barcelona have previously been linked to the player.
