Dani Carvajal: Eden Hazard would not hide for Real Madrid

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal is excited by the potential of Chelsea star Eden Hazard arriving: “He wants the ball and does not hide.”

It is claimed that the Europa League winners have raised their asking price for the Belgian playmaker to €120m and personal terms have already been agreed between the player and Madrid.

Hazard, 28, has been heavily linked with a move to the outgoing European champions with reports that he is currently house-hunting in the Spanish capital.

Marca have previously reported on a near ‘total agreement’ between all parties with the player to sign a six-year deal at Los Blancos.

“Hazard would add a lot to our attack, he is a player who wants the ball and does not hide,” Carvajal told an interview with Marca.

“Luka Jovic is a great number nine and in front of goal, I hope he is decisive and I am sure he will be a great success.

“The end of the campaign? It was the worst season since I've been in the first team, the best thing is that the season has ended, Zidane's arrival gave us oxygen but we did not have a good reaction either.

“Sergio Ramos? At no time did I think Sergio would leave Real Madrid, I knew he wanted to be a Madrid player from a young age.”
