Real Madrid will make their signing of Chelsea star Eden Hazard in a €100m fee official after this season’s Europa League final, say L’Equipe.
The report claims that “this is the story of an inevitable encounter, the story of a shared desire” between the player and Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane.
The Belgium international has long been linked with a move to the European champions and in February he told the media that he has “already made a decision” over his future.
The 28-year-old has never hidden his admiration for Zidane and the Frenchman’s reappointment in Madrid’s hotseat could prove decisive in the approach.
On Sunday, Hazard told reporters: “Yes, (the club were made aware of my decision) a couple of weeks ago.
“Yes I have made my decision but it is not just about me, I have made my decision, that's it.”
Marca have reported on a near ‘total agreement’ between all parties with the player to sign a six-year deal at Los Blancos while Spanish radio has claimed the player has been house-hunting in Madrid.
