Eden Hazard to reject Real Madrid after Chelsea hint?

Eden Hazard has hinted he is prepared to stay at Chelsea if the club qualify for the Champions League: “They are one of the world’s biggest clubs.”

Hazard has already scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists for the current FA Cup holders this season and a move to Real Madrid had been looking increasingly likely.

The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the outgoing European champions with reports that he is currently house-hunting in the Spanish capital.

Marca have reported on a near ‘total agreement’ between all parties with the player to sign a six-year deal at Los Blancos, but these latest comments suggest he is not pushing for a Stamford Bridge exit.

“Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and me, myself, I want to play in the Champions League,” is cited as saying by British media.
