Barcelona want to sign Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford this summer and are prepared to pay €115m for his signature, say reports.
The 21-year-old is developing into one of the most coveted footballers in world football, 45 goals in 167 first-team appearances for the Red Devils.
Rashford, who also has netted six goals at international level for England, is said to be an alternative to Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.
Spanish media cite a report in The Sun tabloid newspaper that the possibility of United missing out on European football could drive the remarkable summer deal.
The striker’s current deal at Old Trafford expires in June 2020 with reports that he is negotiating a new long-term contract, increasing his wage packet from €80k per week to €300k per week.
Rashford was involved in United’s Champions League exit to Barcelona at the quarter-final stage this season.
