Marca: Real Madrid keen on Benfica’s Joao Felix

Real Madrid could make a summer move for Benfica starlet Joao Felix, according to reports in Marca this weekend.

The 19 year-old has earned rave reviews following 15 goals in his debut season with the Portugese side, and Zinedine Zidane's side are believed to have been added to the list of European sides interested in signing him.

According to the report, Los Blancos scouts were in the Portugese capital on Thursday night to run the rule over Luka Jovic – who was playing against his parent club for German side Eintracht Frankfurt – but they were impressed by Felix, who netted a hat trick.

Benfica are preparing themselves for interested parties to come calling for the Portugese U21 international at the end of the season, however he currently has a €120m release clause in his contract.

The Primeira Liga side are in talks with his agent to sign a deal that would increase that fee to €200m, to ward off, or potentially receive a higher fee, should a bid be forthcoming.
