Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera agrees contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer, according to reports.

Daily Record journalist Duncan Castles writes that the Spanish central midfielder will leave Old Trafford after five seasons to join the Ligue 1 champions.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer, meaning that he has been free to discuss terms with other clubs since January.

A report last month in Diario AS claimed the Spaniard will move to the Parc des Princes on a three-year contract, with a ‘significant wage increase’ from a reported €112k per week up to €170k per week.

Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club Bilbao have both previously been linked to the combative central midfielder, alongside Italian side Roma.

Herrera joined United in 2014 in a €30m deal and has made 187 appearances to date for the club, scoring 20 goals.
