L’Equipe: Real Madrid have €500m transfer budget

Real Madrid have a €500m transfer budget this summer allowing them to approach Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard, report L’Equipe.

The France sports newspaper leads it front page on Thursday with the news alongside images of each of the three superstars, who have all been linked to Los Blancos.

Chelsea star Hazard – who is out of contract in 2020 – is said to be the most likely of the three to join Madrid this summer and a long-term target of the club.

The Belgium international has long been linked with a move to the European champions and last month he told the media that he has “already made a decision” over his future.

A report in Marca refuted a claim from France Football that Madrid would be willing to pay €280m for Mbappe, and instead were focusing their efforts on signing Hazard.

Indeed, the Paris Saint-Germain striker is said to be the most complicated of the three and indeed Madrid are looking at Mbappe with a more long-term vision.

Manchester United midfielder Pogba is also interested, having said earlier this month that Madrid were a ‘dream club’ with agent Mino Raiola reported to have seeked a move elsewhere.
