Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera ‘extremely close’ to joining Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer, report Diario AS.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer, meaning that he has been free to discuss terms with other clubs since January.
The report claims the Spaniard will move to the Parc des Princes on a three-year contract, with a ‘significant wage increase’ from a reported €112k per week up to €170k per week.
Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club Bilbao have both previously been linked to the combative central midfielder, alongside Italian side Roma.
Herrera joined United in 2014 in a €30m deal and has made 186 appearances to date for the club, scoring 20 goals.
