Sevilla have given up hope of signing Lille forward Nicolas Pepe because there is a belief he has already agreed terms with Bayern Munich, say reports.
Ivorian winger Pepe has an impressive 17 goals and ten assists in Ligue 1 this season, having also found the back of the net 14 times last season.
The 23-year-old has also been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, but El Desmarque now say there is a belief he will join the German champions this summer with a fee as high as €80m.
“My representatives take care of my future, I am focused on Lille for the rest of the season,” Pepe told Canal Football Club earlier this week.
Lille sporting director Luis Campos said last month: “If a really good proposal comes in for Pepe, we have to sell him.”
Pepe has also been linked with a number of English Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Tottenham and Wolves.
