Real Madrid playmaker Isco has welcomed the return of Zinedine Zidane as Coach of the club: “It is good for everyone.”
The Spain international did not start a match across La Liga or the Champions League under the Frenchman’s predecessor Santiago Solari, who was dismissed earlier this week.
“Everybody knows what he has done for this club, as both a player and a Coach,” Isco told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“It’s good news for everyone that he has decided to return to the club because he loves Real Madrid and he was keen on his decision.
“We need to change our mentality now, we need to be united across the club and to have the fans on our side throughout.
“At this club there are high demands on the team and we want to fight for all titles, so we must finish this season strongly and come back in our proper manner for next year.”
