Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has stated reports linking him to Real Madrid are ‘a positive’ and he would like to ‘return to Spain one day’.
The former Espanyol boss has been linked with a future move to Los Blancos after excelling in his role as Spurs boss – establishing the club among England’s elite.
“I have a relationship with Spain…I want to go back there one day and win football games,” Pochettino told Spanish TV channel TVE, as cited by Diario AS.
“I would like to go back for sure, to play winning football which people want to watch and you must always remain keen to try new experiences and manage new projects.
“Santiago Solari? We know each other and we played alongside each other, he is a colleague and is in a high-profile job, so whenever results do not go way then these reports happen, it is a shame.
“My links to Madrid? I see it as a positive, because people think I am doing my job well.”
