Real Madrid’s woes have continued with the news that defender Dani Carvajal is set to miss a month of action with a “grade two rupture in his right thigh.”
The full-back has been an instrumental figure for Los Blancos in recent years and is set to miss a number of weeks, with the news following that of Vinicius Junior being ruled out for two months.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury in Tuesday’s humiliating 4-1 home defeat against Ajax in the Champions League but had managed to complete the game.
He will likely miss the league games against Real Valladolid, Celta Vigo, Huesca, Valencia and Eibar while he also looks set to miss the upcoming Spain internationals against Norway and Malta this month.
