Isco ‘increasingly isolated’ at Real Madrid

Marca report that Real Madrid playmaker Isco is more isolated than ever at the club having been excluded from Tuesday’s matchday squad against Ajax.

The Spain international was not even named on the substitutes bench for the match, reportedly leaving the player disillusioned and not wanting to spend time with his teammates.

Isco was informed of the decision at Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground and is said to have left in a car, rather than stay with his teammates who were preparing for the Round of 16 tie.

He then was not seen in the dressing room either before or after the game and reportedly cut a frustrated figure, with confusion as to why he was once more overlooked.

Isco has rarely featured in the starting line-ups of Coach Santiago Solari but did play 15 minutes in Saturday’s El Clasico defeat to Barcelona.
