Isco ‘will be sold if Real Madrid stick with Santiago Solari’

Real Madrid will be open to the idea of selling playmaker Isco should Coach Santiago Solari remain next season, according to reports.

Calciomercato report that the fractured relationship between the two ‘is at an all-time low’ with Juventus and Manchester City frontrunners for the player’s signature.

As recently as last week, the Spain international tweeted: “when you do not enjoy the same opportunities as your teammates then things are different.”

The 26-year-old has totally fallen from favour at Los Blancos under Solari and is yet to start a La Liga match in the Argentine’s stint in charge – which has now surpassed three months.

The former Malaga playmaker, who joined Madrid in 2013, would have no shortage of suitors should Madrid decide his future is elsewhere.

Isco has a long-term deal at the Bernabeu until 2022 with a minimum release clause of €700m, having signed a new contract in Madrid last year.
