Real Madrid playmaker Isco has brushed off suggestions of a fallout with popular club matchday delegate Chendo during a victory over Alaves.
Miguel Porlan, nicknamed 'Chendo', is a hugely popular figure at Los Blancos having represented the club as a player and then in a variety of off-field roles.
Isco was introduced late in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Alaves but video footage appeared to show him snub an approach from Chendo when on the touchline.
“There is no doubt he is a great person,” Isco posted on Twitter, as a caption to a photo of the two sitting in the Madrid changing room in an embrace.
“You will not understand a three-second video of the incident because it is an internal joke between us. Hugs, gentleman.”
