Gareth Bale is ready to play a key role for Real Madrid for the remainder of the 2018-19 season, according to manager Santiago Solari.
Solari confirmed that Bale is fit to start against Alaves at the weekend, after making substitute appearances against Espanyol and Girona in the past seven days.
"He is always switched on and ready to play.
"He is in a good condition and we want him to perform how we know he can, how he performed during the Club World Cup, and against Roma in the Champions League."
Real face Abelardo Fernandez's side at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night, with the possiblity of getting to within two points of rivals Atletico Madrid in second place, if Diego Simeone's side lose away at Real Betis.
