Defender Jonny Otto will make his loan deal from Atletico Madrid to Premier League side Wolves a permanent deal before the closure of the transfer window.
Otto, 25, has impressed on loan at Molineux this season, receiving his first senior cap for Spain, with former Valencia manager Nuno Santo making him one of the first names on his team sheet this season.
According to reports in Marca, both sides are working on a deal believed to be in the region of £18m, that would see the former Celta Vigo man sign a four year deal with Santo's side.
After signing in the summer from the Galician club, Otto had looked to return to Madrid, however Diego Simeone is looking to trim his wage bill following the signing of Alvaro Morata.
If the move goes through on time, Atletico look set to make a significant profit on the €7m they paid for him in 2018.
