Manchester City are set to complete the signing of promising Espanyol youngster and Spanish youth international Oscar Tarensi, say Diario Sport.
The left-sided player – who is described at being equally adept both in midfielder and defence – celebrates his 16th birthday on 10 January and will complete his move to England.
He will follow the path of Barcelona youth players Eric Garcia and Adria Bernabe in moving to the English champions, while Arnau Puigmal recently left Espanyol to join Manchester United.
As the report highlights, Tarensi is the latest in a line of talented youngsters to leave the RCDE Stadium following Brian Peña, Raúl Moro and Txus Alba (all Barcelona) along with Pau Russo and Andry Gudjohnsen (Real Madrid).
