Real Madrid playmaker Isco has ruled out a transfer away by insisting that he is ‘very happy’ at the club and wants to ‘continue winning trophies’.
The Spain international has a long-term deal at the Bernabeu until 2022 with a minimum release clause of €700m, having signed a new contract in Madrid last year.
“I am not remotely thinking about leaving Real Madrid in the January transfer window, as I am very happy here and excited for the future,” Isco told Deportes Cuatro.
“My main objective is to continue winning many more titles with Real Madrid.”
The 26-year-old has only started one match across La Liga and the Champions League under new Madrid boss Santiago Solari – a harrowing 3-0 home defeat against CSKA Moscow earlier this month.
