Real Madrid have been linked with a move to Olympique Lyonnais playmaker Nabil Fekir by a report in Monday’s edition of Marca.
Fekir, who is left-footed and primarily plays as a No 10 but can operate out wide, scored 23 goals for Lyon last season and helped France to this year’s World Cup title.
The 25-year-old was previously linked to both Madrid and Barcelona this summer while he also saw a reported agreed move to Liverpool break down at the eleventh hour.
His current deal at the Ligue 1 club expires in June 2020 and the report cites club president Jean-Michel Aulas ‘becoming nervous’ at his decreasing value, opening the possibility of an early sale.
Fekir is the Lyon captain and has helped the club to the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will face Barcelona over two legs.
The playmaker has six goals and four assists in 16 appearances to date this campaign.
