Getafe have completed the loan signing of Leeds United midfielder Samu Saiz until the end of the season, it has been confirmed.
The 27-year-old has started 15 league games for the English club this campaign has agreed terms with Los Azulones, who have the option to sign the player permanently.
Saiz previously spent two years of his career at Getafe between 2011 and 2013 but was mainly used in their B team, before later moving on to Atletico Madrid and then Huesca Huesca.
The central midfielder joined the Yorkshire side – for whom he scored five goals in 53 league appearances – in a €3.5m deal in 2017 and the move to Getafe follows a cruciate ligament rupture for Amath Ndiaye.
Getafe are currently sixth in La Liga.
