Germany boss Joachim Low has described Real Madrid as ‘an interesting option’ as he needs to ‘start thinking’ about his future.
A group stage exit at this summer’s World Cup and relegation from their Nations League has moved the boss into the spotlight with his future in the role now under scrutiny.
“My thoughts are now what I will do after this role,” Low has said, in quotes cited by Marca.
“I have been here for a long time and now I need to begin to think what role I will take after this job, and I would prefer not to continue in Germany.
“My future is likely to be abroad. Real Madrid? It would be an interesting option for any Coach.”
Low was one of a host of names linked to Los Blancos after Zinedine Zidane resigned from the position in June.
