Iker Muniain has signed a five-year contract extension at Athletic Club Bilbao, extending his stay at the club until 2024 at least.
The 25-year-old is out of contract in Bilbao – where he has played his entire career – at the end of the current campaign before the deal was announced on Wednesday.
A wide attacking player, the Basque-native has amassed 357 first-team appearances for Athletic to date and has scored 51 goals in that timeframe.
Muniain, who has one full international cap for Spain, does not have a release clause in his new deal at the San Mames.
