Antoine Griezmann believes former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane would be an ideal Coach for the France national team.
The forward believes Zidane is ‘the best available man’ for the job before clarifying that Didier Deschamps – who guided the side to this year’s World Cup title – has done a ‘terrific job’.
“I don't know how long Deschamps wants to remain as national manager,” Griezmann told an interview ESPN FC.
“He has earned the respect he has, and I think he will be on the job as much as he wants. However, I believe Zidane could be the best manager available (for the French national team).
“Actually, Deschamps has done a terrific job.”
Zidane won the 1998 World Cup for his nation alongside the European Championships crown two years later while Deschamps has been in his post since 2012.
