Real Madrid have confirmed an ankle injury for midfielder Casemiro and knee ligament damage for defender Nacho Fernandez.
The club confirmed the double injury news on Monday morning but gave no further information in relation to any length of time for layoffs.
Cadena Cope report Nacho is set to miss eight weeks of action with his injury while it is believed that Casemiro’s layoff will be resolved much quicker, and is expected to return in three weeks.
Sergio Reguillon was also taken off injured during Madrid’s 4-2 victory in Vigo on Sunday night as the club’s injury crisis deepened.
Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Jesus Vallejo were all ruled out through injury ahead of the game.
