Paris Saint-Germain reportedly paid €252m to sign ex-Barcelona star Neymar, who has denied receiving €375,000 to applaud the French club’s fans.
Football Leaks wrote PSG spent more than the €222m to buy out Neymar’s Barca contract, beginning with €21.4m in commission to his father and Israeli agent Pini Zahavi.
Furthermore, Santos were owed €8.7m as the team who developed the 26-year-old.
The Brazilian did not respond to the claim but did take to Instagram to brand one made by Record, which suggested he was being paid €375,000 to clap PSG supporters at the end of matches, as ‘fake news’.
