Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata believes his club cannot stop Eden Hazard from eventually joining Real Madrid following his latest comments.
The former Madrid striker was referencing Hazard’s comments outlining his ‘dream’ of joining the European champions, with the Belgian’s contract at Stamford Bridge expiring in 2020.
“If he has said this so clearly, it is because that is the way it is,” Morata told Spanish TV station Cuatro.
“Chelsea would not be able to block this but they would get a strong deal because he will not force his departure, he is under contract, and the club would get a good deal.
“Madrid’s season? All clubs go through difficult moments and this is one of them, I’m sure they will start to score goals soon with players like Mariano, Karim, Gareth and Marco.
“For forwards sometimes, you go through a run when you just cannot score no matter what you do but this will change soon, it always does.”
