Real Madrid are sweating over the fitness of full-back Dani Carvajal after he sustained an injury during Tuesday’s defeat at CSKA Moscow.
The Spain international limped off in the 42nd minute of the 1-0 defeat in the Russian capital and was replaced by Alvaro Odriozola.
The 26-year-old has already had to miss games this season due to injury problems, sitting out the 1-0 win over Espanyol last month.
Madrid’s defensive resources are currently stretched due to Marcelo’s injury, forcing Nacho Fernandez to play left-back while playmaker Isco is also out for a month with appendicitis.
