Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has described Atletico Madrid as ‘wasting time from the first minute’ in Saturday’s Madrid derby.
Saturday night’s match ended goalless at the Santiago Bernabeu with the Spain international lamenting the tactics of the home side’s opponents.
“The draw for them is a great result and you could see that in their performance,” Carvajal told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“They wasted time from the first minute of the game and that means it is very hard for us to break them down and find our rhythm, that is how they want to play.
“It is disappointing not to win of course but we would prefer to win titles instead.”
