Andre Silva has credited Sevilla’s stunning 3-0 victory over Real Madrid on Wednesday to Coach Pablo Machin: “It went exactly as he predicted.”
Machin masterminded Girona’s 2-1 victory over Madrid last season and his side have now notched a remarkable 14 goals in their most recent three matches.
“It is not every day you beat Real Madrid 3-0,” Silva, who scored twice during the victory, is cited as saying by Marca.
“We are all very happy because we played really well and secured a fantastic result, this is the level we want to continue to replicate.
“This performance is thanks to the Coach, he told us how to do everything with the shape, the pressing and the plan – it went exactly as he predicted.
“We have full trust and belief in him, it is very important.”
