Real Valladolid Coach Sergio Gonzalez has signed an improved contract with the club until June 2020, it has been confirmed.
The former Espanyol boss, most famed for a nine-year playing stint at Deportivo La Coruna, was initially appointed by the Blanquivioletas in April.
Sergio guided the club back to the top-flight following a four-year absence and subsequently signed a deal until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
However, new club president Ronaldo Nazario has sanctioned a further one year on the Coach’s deal at the Estadio Jose Zorrila.
